Dear World Vision Supporter,
Child nutrition is a hot topic right now, both in the developing world and here at home. Did you know that almost a quarter of a billion children worldwide go to bed hungry every night—even though there is enough food for us all? It's an injustice we can do something about.
Please join us at the Market Kitchen in the St. Lawrence Market on May 30th at 6:00 pm to help cook up some justice for vulnerable children. Celebrity chef and recording artist Roger Mooking, who joined us on a recent trip to Cambodia, will show you how to prepare a dish inspired by the people he met there. He'll also share some of the incredible things he learned about child nutrition and development.

World Vision is concerned about the Canadian government's plan to freeze foreign aid at 2010 levels. It means we'd be giving just 0.3% of our national income—less than half the 0.7% goal.
With Roger's help, we can urge the government to remain fully engaged in global efforts to improve child and maternal health, nutrition, and food security.
All you need to do is RSVP or email worldvisionvoices@worldvision.ca. Then go to www.worldvisionvoices.ca today. You'll see video footage and photos from Roger's trip, read some pretty amazing recipes for justice, and learn how you can make a difference by lending your voice to our Cooking Up Justice campaign.
Even if you can't make it to the event in person, you can still cook up some justice by creating your recipe for justice at www.worldvisionvoices.ca.
Blessings,
